This rather nice image was taken at a Essex based wedding and really captures the essence of the reportage style that we do.

Reportage photography is all about trying to photograph somebody without them really being aware of you, while you capture a natural image, trying to show people who look at the wedding photographs what the atmosphere was

There are literally thousands of ways to take pictures of bridesmaids so thinking up new and novel ways can be fun. This was just a quick candid picture of the girls as they stood in front of the door waiting for the bride to arrive, no posing involved!

We’ve been to quite a few venues where we have been lucky enough to have a bridge that we can use for a few shots, this particular Essex wedding venue had a rather lovely white bridge over a small lake that was begging to be utilised in a few romantic pics. This was one of them and I think it turned out rather nice.

This shot was taken at a Jewish wedding we attended in Surrey. The chuppah (canopy) meant that the only way to get good photos of the bride and groom was to stand on a window sill a couple of feet off the ground! And I’m scared of heights lol

I really like this pic of Sue the bride of our last wedding, she was great all day! (Good work taking this Nick)
